Seppi

Seppi is a craft sparkling wine project from Kelsey Phelps Finch, granddaughter of Napa Valley wine pioneer Joseph Phelps. The project sought to expand its portfolio of wines, adding late-disgorged and single-vineyard offerings. A branding and packaging refresh was undertaken to better align with the evolving direction of the brand while maintaining the distinctive identity established in its original design.

The update involved refining the brandmark for improved legibility and versatility across various applications. To simplify the design, a full-label foil treatment was replaced with a more minimalist approach—hot-stamping the brandmark alone while preserving the proprietary hexagonal pattern in a subtle metallic ink. This allowed for a cleaner, more modern aesthetic while ensuring the brand's visual identity remained strong and recognizable.
