Unified 2026 Recap
Coming back around from this year’s Unified and still taking it all in. Caught up with so many familiar faces, chatted with new connections, and of course, had some wine. The main takeaway was:
1. Wine rules, & 2. We’re all in this together on making that message clear.
This year’s Unified Wine & Grape Symposium was extra special as I had the honor to speak with Jess Druey of Whiny Baby to dissect The New Rules of Attraction: Using Design to Seduce, Sway & Snare the Right Wine Customers. With moderators Tyler Balliet and Morgan First, we had a lively and candid conversation about how packaging and storytelling can influence your brand world and amplify your audience.
While we come from different facets of the wine world, we share a passion for telling stories through design and emphatically believe in the future of wine. We talked about what’s working, what’s not, and how wineries can find the right audiences without selling their soul.
