Introducing Rowen Wine Company’s Cooley Ranch Chardonnay from Rodney Strong Vineyards. Perched high above the fog line in Sonoma’s remote north, Cooley Ranch is shaped by rare greenstone soils and dramatic, rugged slopes. Our design translates that landscape into bold sweeps of green and gold foil, layered with sculptural embossing for added dimension.
For the Rodney Strong Rowen Chardonnay design, our team hiked the dramatic slopes of Cooley Ranch alongside winemaker Justin Seidenfeld, immersing ourselves in the vineyard that defines Rowen Wine Company. Known for its Bordeaux varietals, Cooley Ranch revealed a different side of itself in this limited-release Chardonnay; a pure expression of elevation, precision, and place.
Inspired by its steep slopes, high-elevation light, and ancient soils, the package mirrors the vineyard’s distinct character. As the newest member of the Rowen portfolio, it also introduced a unifying detail: a signature neck band adorned with the Rowen mark, creating cohesion and distinction across all wines in the lineup.
