ALAS Equity Express Bus

We are honored to have worked with ALAS (Ayudando Latinos A Soñar) to design a double-decker bus wrap for the launch of their Farmworker Equity Express Mobile Resource Center. The Equity Express, debuting this December, will bring medical services, telehealth services, tutoring, education, wifi, and mental health services to farmworkers throughout coastal California. This amazing initiative will transform the way resources are provided to an underserved and time-constrained population.

Gatto Rivera drew inspiration for the design from ALAS' pink-and-yellow headquarters, located in Antonio's hometown of Half Moon Bay. The imagery is made up of traditional Mexican iconography to symbolize key themes: butterflies signify both the migration and transformation, Aztec grass represents perseverance against all odds, and jaguar heads harken a warrior spirit.

On December 11th, ALAS unveiled the Farmworker Equity Express, a state-of-art retrofitted double-decker bus, at a ribbon cutting ceremony in Half Moon Bay, CA.
