Donnachadh

Donnachadh Wines, a family-owned and organically farmed vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills AVA of California, sought a packaging design that would reflect the maritime influence of their vineyards and their Scottish heritage.

The resulting labels feature a striking linocut illustration of a Selkie, a mythical mercreature, created by artist Kathleen Neeley. Drawing inspiration from the family’s connection to the land and sea, Neeley’s linocut style blends folklore and environmental themes, capturing the essence of Donnachadh’s distinct site. The label’s intricate, mythological imagery complements the winery’s commitment to producing wines that reflect the complexity and character of their estate.
